Starting a family is a scary thing and having a safe and secure home is something every parent wants for their child. So when Mac and Kelly Radner (Rose Byrne & Seth Rogen) discover that a rowdy fraternity are moving in next door they fear the worst.

Luckily Teddy (Zac Efron), the Fraternity president is a very understanding guy and promises all will be well. As fraternity parties do, things get a little noisy and after requests to keep the volume down fall on deaf ears, the Radners secretly call the police with an anonymous tip. They don’t stay anonymous for long a the police make it clear to Teddy that it was their neighbours that complained. This turns the relationship from friends to foes and war is declared.

As the family feuds with the fraternity, it leads to dangerous and mostly pretty funny pranks and tricks going back and forth. This is a Seth Rogen movie and if you’ve seen his movies before I am sure you’re aware of the type of comedy he does and this film is no different.

If you like silly slapstick comedy with a bit of awkwardness thrown in, then “Bad Neighbours” is just the movie for you. As a parent I can sympathise with the Radners, but do they go too far? We’ll let you decide!
